OUR STAFF Our senior adult faculty has extensive dance backgrounds and teaching experience as well as being certified through Dance Masters of America. Deana Corlis: teaches tap, ballet, and jazz for both school age and teen students. She is also responsible for numerous award winning choreography pieces for our competition teams. Sandi Duncan: teaches our preschool and kindercombo classes and provides instruction in jazz, tap, ballet, and modern. She is known for her innovative choreography and is the Artistic Director of "Subtle Intuition," our in house dance company. Heidi Conard: provides instruction in jazz, tap, and tumble. She is responsible for winning choreography in lyric, jazz, and acro. Marilynn Jewett: has 11 years experience in the Gymboree program. She now heads up our new toddler program, "Way to Grow." Kassandra Bury: teaches ballet, tap, and jazz as well as being a certified Stott Institute Pilates Instructor. Sara Jean Caira: provides instruction in Hip Hop and Jazz. Melissa Hoffman: actively provides instruction to our preschoolers as well as jazz, tap, and ballet. Our staff is also supplemented by a large group of assistant and student teachers. While still students at the studio themselves, these individuals work under the guidance of our adult staff to provide instruction to our younger students. |

MHDC has been supporting the NHMAW foundation for 11 years. In that time, through an annual performance done in February, the MHDC teams have granted 15 wishes for children who suffer from life threatening illnesses. A $1700 donation was also made in memory of one the studio's young dancers. In total MHDC has made donations in excess of $70,000. This event continues to be an important part of MHDC's mission and calendar.
