Melissa Hoffman is a dance educator and choreographer with more than 30 years of teaching experience in all forms of dance. Her early training was a concentration in ballet (Cecchetti technique). At the age of 12 she also branched out into jazz, tap, and acro. She was given the opportunity to begin student teaching at the age of 14 and has been teaching ever since.
A member of Dance Masters of America Inc., Melissa is certified to teach through both oral and written exams.
Melissa’s students have been consistent winners at many local and national dance competitions and have been recipients of scholarships to prestigious dance programs including Pointe Park College, NYU-Tisch, University of Arizona and Dean College.
Melissa is also very active in community theater, though her greatest work to date is choreographing the daily needs of her four children.
